PS2 Rhapsody of Zephyr Release Date, Details Announced

Rhapsody of Zephyr was originally a Korean RPG, loosely based on the novel the Count of Monte-Cristo, developed by Softmax and released for the PC in 1998. Later released for the PC and Dreamcast in Japan as Nishikaze no Rhapsody by Nihon Falcom, the game had recently been announced for a PS2 Japanese release. The game will be released on January 29th, 2004; its playability and interface will be enhanced. New sound effects will also be added, and the music quality will be improved. Also, a new movie mode will be available, where you can view the game's movies once again after beating it. Some new items and magic will also be added. The PS2 version's first print will include a soundtrack CD, both the regular and first print version will retail for 6800 yen.

Rhapsody of Zephyr's PC version has sold 130,000 copies in Korea, and 50,000 in Japan; you can click the following links to some media and a review of the game.
