Final Fantasy X-2: Full Throttle
09.19.03 - 4:14 AM

Those anticipating the release of Final Fantasy X-2 still have over two months until its December release, but we have a huge new assortment of artwork to ease the ever-increasing pain. As to-be fans should no doubt be aware of by now, FFX-2 features a form of job system akin to Final Fantasy Tactics, though with an emphasis on 'dressing up' (no doubt due to the all-female cast). Our gallery has been expanded to contain pictures for Yuna, Rikku and Paine in every class available.

While these aren't exactly plot spoilers, be warned that everything is in here - from the beginning classes like Gunner and Thief, to the very odd Mascot outfits, and the 3 character-exclusive special outfits; So if you hope to be surprised by any outfits, view at your own risk.

In addition to 45 new job pictures, we also have 5 rarely-seen pieces of artwork by famed series artist Yoshitaka Amano. Amano, for those unaware, was the main artist and designer for the Final Fantasy series, until Tetsuya Nomura came along and handled design work for most of the games since Final Fantasy VII. However, despite Final Fantasy X-2's characters being of Nomura's design, Amano still created some beautiful art of the main characters and more.

All of this new artwork begins on page 2 of the gallery and continues through page 4. Take a look, and as always, RPGFan will keep you updated as its released - such as a release date less vague than 'December.'

Update: I blame the brain lapse on the late hour. Following Wednesday's update on the international version of the game, we now bring you 22 screen shots and 2 artwork of said version. Enjoy.
