Despite Konami's announcement that they will unveil Genso Suikoden IV at Tokyo Game Show later this month, first details regarding the game have already begun to surface in Japan. Not surprisingly, it will be released for the PlayStation 2. The character designer will be a familiar face: Junko Kouno, who has already worked on previous Suikoden installments and Shadow of Memories. The game's setting will be the sea and its story will follow the events surrounding the island kingdoms.

Suikoden IV will be available in Japan sometime next year.
