The Oslo, Norway-based company Funcom has announced that Shadowlands, the highly anticipated expansion pack for its popular PC MMOPRG Anarchy Online, has gone gold.

Furthermore, the company plans to change its online fees for Anarchy Online effective September 1st. A 12 month subscription will then cost $7.95 US per month (or a total of $95.40), a six month subscription will be $9.95 per month (or a total of $59.70), a three month subscription $11.95 per month (or a total of $35.85) and an one month subscription is $14.95.

Anarchy Online: Shadowlands will be available in the US on August 26th, carrying a retail price of $29.99 US. Those who pre-order the expansion will receive a sweet in-game gift in the form of a luxury apartment located in the floating city of Jobe.
