Weekly Japanese Sales Charts Update

Two new entries, among them Smilebit's J League Pro Soccer Club Tsukurou, the best selling Sega title in Japan for quite some time has pushed back Nintendo's Pokémon Box Ruby and Sapphire to spot 3. In its second week the title has sold another 22,770 copies adding up to a total of 101,203 copies.

The recent incarnation of the popular strategy RPG series Fire Emblem - Rekka no Ken - remained unchanged at spot 7, selling 8,343 copies and a total of 209,053 copies. Pokémon Sapphire and Ruby climbed to spot 9 and 11, selling 7,620 copies (for a total of 2,199,746 copies) and 6,910 copies (for a total of 2,143,002 copies) respectively, this week.

Square Enix's best selling Game Boy Advance RPG so far, Dragon Quest Monsters Caravan Heart, climbed one spot to 10, thereby selling 6,999 copies this week and bringing its total to 527,869 copies. Marevellous Interactive's Bokujou Mineral Town no Nakamatachi (Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town) for GBA sold 4,045 copies to climb back to spot 18 and reach a total of 73,358 copies.

By selling 4,058 copies this week, Square Enix's PlayStation 2 blockbuster Final Fantasy X-2 climbed ten spots to 22 and brought its grand total to 1,962,795 copies. Rockman EXE 3 Black from Capcom also gained some ground, selling 3,840 copies this week and a total of 118,953 copies at spot 25. Banpresto's PS2 title 2nd Super Robot Taisen Alpha remained at spot 27. The strategy RPG sold 3,690 copies this week to reach a total of 498,343 copies. Bandai's PlayStation One title From TV animation One Piece Oceans Dream fell by one spot to 29, selling 3,415 copies for a total of 108,165 copies.

Climbing from spot 110 to 31, Summon Night Kraftnot Monogatari sold another 3,071 copies to reach a total of 48,521 copies. Konami's anime-adaption Saishuuheikikanojou for PlayStation 2 dropped to spot 32, selling 3,027 copies for a total of 13,640 copies. Konami's GBA RPG Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters 8 sold 2,960 copies this week and a total of 109,493 copies at spot 34.

Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past & Four Swords slipped from spot 26 to 35. The GBA title sold 2,920 copies this week and a total of 273,638 copies. Another Nintendo title, the GameCube RPG Giftpia, remained unchanged at spot 38, selling 2,833 copies this week for a total of 64,955 copies. Square Enix's second GBA title on the charts, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, sold 2,286 copies this week, thereby remaining at spot 44 and bringing its total to 443,914 copies.

Sony Computer Entertainment's PlayStation 2 RPG Arc The Lad Seiren no Tasogare (Twilight of the Spirits) climbed by one spot to re-enter the charts at spot 50. The fourth installment of the Arc The Lad series added another 1,693 copies to its total of 163,764 copies.
