E3: Dungeons And Dragons Goes Online
05.16.03 - 4:48 PM

Atari (formerly Infogrames) and Turbine Entertainment (of Asheron's Call 1 and 2 fame) have announced Dungeons and Dragons Online for the PC. Players can choose among various classic D&D races and classes, such as humans, elves and halflings as well as fighters, clerics, rogues and wizards. The new title will be based on dungeon combat, guild politics and territorial control over portions of the game's world. User will have the chance to embark on adventures and take on enemies out of the famous Monster Manual rolebook on their own or in groups.

Dungeons and Dragons Online will be available sometime in 2005.
