Nihon Falcom Announces Arcturus
04.29.03 - 4:12 PM

Nihon Falcom has announced plans to bring Gravity's PC RPG Arcturus to Japan this summer. The game tells the story of a boy named Shizu born at the origin of the Calamity Star Arcturus. Battles are fought in half real-time, meaning players can take their time while inputting commands. The right timing provided, it is possible to counter an enemy attack shortly before its execution, and combos combining the attacks of various party members can be pulled off. Furthermore, the game offers an auto-battle mode. Event scenes have anime-style visuals to them and last but not least, the game allows players to record all the information they have collected during their adventures.

Arcturus will be available in Japan on June 30th 2003.

Thanks goes to Gillian Seed for the hint.
