Funcom has announced that it has upgraded its popular PC MMORPG's mission system. The developers have revamped the game's mission areas to provide for more entertaining, diverse adventures in better looking environments. In particular, the layout, viewing distance, turrets and cameras have been enhanced, a new loot system introduced and rooms enlarged.

In the meantime, Funcom is readying its expansion pack Shadowlands for a summer 2003 release.
