Weekly Japanese Sales Charts Update

Following Koei's Shin Sangoku Musou 3 , which easily topped this week's edition of the Japanese charts, Enix's PlayStation 2 RPG Star Ocean: Till The End of Time entered the charts at spot 2, selling 349,571 copies. Another new entry can be found at spot 3: Sega's Sakura Taisen: Atsuki Chishio Ni which was released on the same day as Star Ocean , sold 142,351 copies. Atlus' PS2 RPG Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne dropped from spot 1 to 7, selling 37,328 copies this week for a total of 190,004 copies. The latest installment of Atlus' flagship RPG series is followed by Square's Final Fantasy Tactics Advance in spot 8. The GameBoy Advance strategy RPG sold 33,911 copies this week to bring its total to 324,444 copies. Nintendo's Pokemon Sapphire moved one spot up again to 10, selling 17,479 copies in the process for a total of 2,029,945 units. Its sister title, Pokemon Ruby, remained at spot 12, selling 14,250 copies this week and a total of 1,981,082 copies. The Megahits edition of Final Fantasy X came in at spot 32, having sold 5,252 copies this week and 46,884 total since its January 16th release. Namco's sequel to Seven, Venus and Braves slipped from spot 14 to 34. This week the game sold 5,211 copies for a total of 66,577 copies. Nippon Ichi's strategy RPG Makaisenki Disgaia sold 4,892 copies thereby coming in at spot 37 this week and bringing its total to 99,928 copies. Another new entry, in the form of Kid's PS2 adventure game Iris, can be found at spot 38. Released on February 27th, it has sold 4,793 copies so far. Nintendo's The Legend Of Zelda: Kaze no Takuto slipped by 11 spots to 43, selling 4,267 copies this week for a total of 615,116 copies.
