New Morrowind Expansion Announced

Bethesda Softworks has announced the second expansion for its popular PC RPG, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, titled Bloodmoon. Bloodmoon takes place on the island of Solstheim, where the Empire is in the progress of setting up a new mining colony. As the expansion packs' title already suggests, Solstheim isn't exactly the best place for such a venture. Both the prophecy of the Bloodmoon and werewolves which are said to live on the island pose a serious thread to the enterprise. Aspiring werewolve hunters and brave warriors keen on exploring the frozen island have to journey north from Wardenfall by ship to reach Morrowind's newest area. Solstheim's forests and hills which are covered by ice and snow are the home of frost trolls, ice minions, wolves and other hostile creatures. Interestingly enough, the player not only has the choice to defend or expand the mining colony, but also can become a werewolf himself.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind - Bloodmoon will be released sometime in May.
