Sega has announced first release details on Sakura Taisen Atsuki Chishio Ni, the PlayStation 2 remake of the original Sakura Taisen and the series' debut title on Sony's platform. Just like previous games, Atsuki Chishio Ni will be available in a standard and limited edition version. While the latter, which ships with a special pocket watch and a premium DVD, will be available at a price of 9,800yen (79.74USD), the standard version will cost 6,800yen (55.33USD). Quick customers will be able to get a package of the game and the premium DVD for 6,800yen (55.33USD), as the first pressing will include this bonus for free.
Sakura Taisen Atsuki Chishio Ni will be available in Japan sometime in February 2003.
