Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II Media and Information

Sega recently launched the Hunter's License website for the domestic version of Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II and the site contains several pieces of information.  According to a FAQ on the site, the domestic version will utilize an auto payment system in which the Hunter's License fee will be automatically renewed monthly. This is a different payment method than what has been used in the past and users will be required to cancel their Hunter's License, at least seven days prior to the next billing cycle, as opposed to letting it expire on its own.

Additionally, the site mentions issues involving debit cards and importers.  Relating to debit cards, they can be used so long as the card contains the Visa or Mastercard logo; which is different from the credit card only stance taken in Phantasy Star Online Version 2 for the Dreamcast.  As far as importers go, Sega states that so long as you can complete the registration process and your payment can be processed, you can purchase a Hunter's License.

One bit of information that the website does not comment on relates to whether or not the import and domestic versions will be capable of playing together online.  There is currently no conclusive information which would indicate whether or not the Japanese and American servers will be connected or if they will be separated due to a bug in the Japanese version.
With the recent release of the game, information relating to this is expected to be known soon.

With this update comes more pictures.  New weapons, old weapons, new stages, new monsters, some more new, some more old, and several pumpkins.
