Famitsu Rates Four RPGs

In its recent issue Famitsu has passed judgement on four RPGs which will be released by the end of the month in Japan. Among them were the PlayStation One remakes of Final Fantasy I and II, which only scored 29 and 27 out of 40, respectively. Famitsu's reviewers apparently didn't like Idea Factory's new PlayStation 2 simulation RPG Gakuen Toshi Varanoir either, also giving it a mere 27/40 score. Enix, on the contrary, managed to snag a platinum award for the third installment of its popular Dragon Quest gaiden, Torneko, which received a 35/40 rating.
