Kidou Shinsengumi Moeyo Ken Back on Track

Enterbrain's simulation/RPG hybrid Kidou Shinsengumi Moeyo Ken for PlayStation 2 is back on track, after months of silence from its developers.

The game, which stars Sakura Taisen mastermind Ouji Hiroi as producer and Rumiko Takahashi (of Ranma 1/2 and Inu Yasha fame) as character designer, will take you to Japan's ancient capital Kyoto during the rule of the Tokugawa Shogunate (1600-1868). The game will feature a story about an alternate past, as the player will assume the role of a samurai named Shintarou Yuzuki.

Originally set for a 2000 release, the game will finally be released in Japan on December 26th 2002.
