New Cross Gate Add-On Announced

Enix has announced a new power-up kit for its PC MMORPG, Cross Gate. The new add-on is called Cross Gate - Power-Up Kit Tatsu no Sunadokei, (Dragon's Hourglass) and will contain two new areas by the name of Minegal and Kulkus, which can only be reached by ship. Ships will be operating periodically and players will have to wait some time at the harbor until they receive the necessary papers to board one. The ship will take a fixed time to arrive at your destination of choice, depending on its distance from the harbor. To make sure you don't have to stand around idle on the ship, while watching the waves, players can talk to each other, shop or fight against each other during their voyage. Furthermore, new jobs will be available with Tatsu no Sunadokei, for instance, dancer, detective or wizard. Those jobs will feature new skills such as dance, masquerade or metamorphosis. Other additions include more than 20 different rare items as well as new BGM sounds. Zener Works, the developing studio behind Sony Computer Entertainment's light- hearted PlayStation 2 RPG Boku to Maou (Okage in the US) has been responsible for adding 14 new character models, which will be somewhat remiscient of their counterparts in Okage. Those additions will not only include humans, but also fairies and dwarfs. For each of those 14 new characters four color variations will be selectable by player.

Cross Gate - Power-Up Kit Tatsu no Sunadokei will be available on December 13th at a retail price of 5,800yen (47.02USD). Newcomers to the Cross Gate universe can also purchase a Value Pack, which includes the original game and the expansion for 11,600yen (94.05USD).
