Banpresto Teams Up with SoftMax

Banpresto has inked a partnership agreement with Korean developer SoftMax, known for PC games such as Rhapsody of Zephyr, War of Genesis and its newest, highly popular RPG, Magna Carta. Under the agreement Banpresto, best known for its Super Robot Taisen series, has obtained the publishing rights for Magna Carta on the Japanese market. While it has already been confirmed that the game will be headed to the PlayStation 2, no release date has been announced as of now.

Furthermore, the Japanese company invested additional money in SoftMax for the development of future console games.
