New Bistro Cupid Info

Firedog's dating and restaurant management simulation has received a specific Japanese release date. While Bistro Cupid was previously listed for a summer 2002 release, it is on track for a June 13th release now.

In Bistro Cupid, the player assumes the role of a male student at a cooking academy. His practical final exam task is to manage a restaurant. After a day of hard work in the kitchen, for instance, the dating sim fun can begin and the player is free to date his girl of choice at a more intimate location, like an onsen (Japanese hot spring) or in a park. The game will feature a cast of 12 girls.

Published by Success, Bistro Cupid's standard version will retail for 5,800yen ($43.93USD), while the limited edition will carry a price tag of 9,800yen ($74.23USD).
