Newest sales data from Japan

Since its release on March 28th, Kingdom Hearts, Square's collaboration with Disney, has sold 415,910 copies in Japan and thereby captured the top spot of the sales charts. Square's newest work is followed by Banpresto's Super Robot Taisen Impact for PlayStation 2 (394,508), while Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Ken (The Sealed Sword) secured the 4th place on the list for Nintendo, selling 101,800 copies.

Sega's last big Dreamcast title, Sakura Taisen 4 - Koiseyo otome, dropped from the second spot last week to 13, selling 22,333 copies this week and a total of 238,439 since its March 21st release. Another Sega game, Shining Soul for GameBoy Advance, and NEC Interchannel's PlayStation 2 strategy RPG Black/Matrix II followed in spots 14 and 15, selling 20,500 and 18,661 copies respectively.

Just one spot behind them, Square's Wonderswan remake of the Super Famicom classic Final Fantasy IV managed to get a hold of the 16th spot, having sold 18,590 copies.
