Square has announced an additional fee for its upcoming online RPG Final Fantasy XI. Users who want to create more than one character will have to pay an additional 100yen (0.78USD)/month for each additional character. Square will be charging the same amount for a one month usage of Tetramaster. As previously reported, the monthly fee for playing Final Fantasy XI has been set at 1,280yen (9.98USD).
Furthermore, it was announced that the PlayStation 2 version of the game requires a dualshock controller, SCE's ethernet controller and harddisk drive as well as an internet connection to be playable online.
