Sakura Taisen 4 Interview & Media

With the release date of Sakura Taisen 4: Koiseyo Otome drawing closer, more information is finally being disclosed about the game, and we've prepared this ST4 special consequently!

First up, we've got an Interview with Hiroi Ouji, the series' creator, conducted in Weekly Famitsuu. Among other things, Mr. Hiroi tells us more about the play in Sakura Taisen 4, and reveals Oogami will be the one singing the theme song this time around! On a side note, ST4 has been ranked #2 on Famitsuu's recent most wanted charts, following FFXI very closely.

Next up, we've got 47 new screen shots from the game, along with 8 new pieces of artwork. Also, we have some pictures of the limited edition goods. As previously announced, the LE will come with sixteen 3 x 2.2 cm phone strap plates: 13 for each of the heroines, one of Oogami, and 2 of theaters' logos. Customers willing to purchase the LE through Sega's online retailer D-Direct will also receive a set of magnets, which can be seen here.

Lastly, Sakura Taisen 4 will include a bonus disk, containing the three extra dramas for Sakura Taisen 3 that were previously downloadable from Sega's ST3 site. You can see screens of these dramas here. The disk will be included in both the regular edition and LE.

Sakura Taisen 4: Maidens, Fall in Love will be released on March 21st, and yes, it's still for the Dreamcast. The LE will retail for 8800 yen and the regular one for 6800. And needless to say, as usual, there is no way this title could make it outside Japan.
