Kingdom Hearts To Feature Utada Hikaru Song

Square and Disney's RPG Kingdom Hearts will feature a theme song by Japanese popular singer Utada Hikaru. Utada Hikaru, aka "Hikki" is a 19-year old singer who was born in the US and has spent her life between Japan and the USA, before becoming a star in Japan at age 16. Her first album broke sales records and sold several millions of copies, and she is thought to be one of the most successful artists of the last few years in Japan. For Kingdom Hearts, she has composed and written a song entitled "Hikari" (Light). The single will be released by Toshiba Emi on March 20th for 1100 yen. An English version of the song will be made for the "overseas" versions. You can check out two new screen shots of Kingdom Hearts here. Kingdom Hearts will be out on March 28th in Japan.
