Although Growlanser II has just been released in Japan, Atlus and Career Soft are already working on Growlanser III for the PlayStation 2, which should be available no later than this year. The story begins in the land of Kshironia, 1,000 years before the first Growlanser. Growlanser III: The Dual Darkness retains the series' "dramatic RPG" system, with character interaction much similar to dating sims' and large character portraits by series artist Satoshi Urushihara.
