CESA Announces First TGS Details

The CESA has announced first details regarding the next Tokyo Game Show, which will take place in the Makuhari Messe between October 12 and 14.
Currently 13 RPGs are set to be shown at this year's Fall TGS, including Enix's PSOne port of Dragon Quest IV, as well as Monolith's Xenosaga Episode I - Der Wille Zur Macht.

As far as the number of games per platform is concerned, it again becomes obvious that the Japanese market is dominated by Sony's PlayStation 2 and Nintendo's GameBoy Advance, each with 13 and 12 titles, respectively. However, games on mobile phones seem to become a hot topic as well; 12 titles are so far announced to be exhibited in the halls of the Makuhari Messe, located in Chiba.

Furthermore, so far there are seven PlayStation titles, two each for GameBoy Color and GameCube, two PC games, one for Xbox, one other console and, I'm not lying, one Nintendo 64 game slated to show up in some form at the world's second largest exhibition of videogames, behind E3.
Please note that the figures above are all preliminary. With five more weeks until the show's start, expect announcements from companies concerning TGS line-ups popping up soon.
