Pokemon Crystal Info and Media Nintendo has announced they will release the latest Pokemon installment, Pokemon Crystal, for the GBC in the US. Set to arrive July 30th, Pokemon Crystal will be a slight upgrade to Pokemon Silver and Gold, with features including the option to play as a girl, and will retail for $34.99. The option to play over a cellular phone network, available in the Japanese release, will not be present in the US edition. In related news, we have pictures of Nintendo's Pokemon Crystal-themed Game Boy Advanced system, known as the Pokemon Center GBA, available only at the two special "Pokemon Center" retailers: one in Osaka and the other in Tokyo. The unit, which retails for 9800 yen ($80), features Pokemon #245, Suicune and changes colors depending on how you hold it to the light. No US release has been announced, but you can see the pictures here.
