RPG Mood Poll

Without any sort of mood, RPGs would be level-raising, dungeon-crawling, item-collecting, programs with no personality whatsoever. How fun is that? While many RPGs combine different moods in various parts of each game, certain moods may appeal more to some than others. So, here's the question:

"What type of mood in RPGs do you prefer most?"

There's no "all of the above" option so you'll have to think hard to figure out which mood in RPGs you find especially enjoyable. Yeah, I know...many of you may be on Winter break and are unmotivated to think hard. However, it's the weekly poll so you won't have to do it again for another seven days. Be brave, give it a try, and vote!

Now, using the results from last week's poll, RPGFan will now crown the PlayStation Final Fantasy king. The honor goes to Final Fantasy IX with a decisive 48% of the vote. Second place went to Final Fantasy VII with 39% of the vote. Third, as you can guess, goes to Final Fantasy VIII, which hung onto only 13% of the vote. To see these results for yourself, go to the poll archives.

I just realized that the next edition of the weekly poll lands on the day before Christmas. Now, a relaxing evening will turn to one of worry as I try to choose a topic that will live up to the expectations you will all undoubtedly have. Curses! But until then, enjoy your week. Be sure to drop me a line if you have a poll idea!
