Thanksgiving Poll

With the release of Shenmue and Skies of Arcadia, plus games like Grandia II and Dark Cloud looming on the horizon, 3D graphics have never been prettier. Before Dreamcast, blocky and jagged polygons on PlayStation made for some decent, yet not spectacular visual experiences. Those graphical blemishes were justification for countless fans to declare that 2D graphics with their crisp look still provide the ultimate RPG experience. Are those days slowly slipping away? You decide!

"Now that beautifully detailed, anti-aliased 3D graphics can be easily produced on Dreamcast and PS2, what role does it play in RPGs?"

It may be turkey day, but the poll remains the same. Just go and vote!

The last poll dealt with those nagging trends in RPGs that beg to be mentioned. The most annoying turned out to be those "pissy, anti-social teen heroes". Perhaps instead of starring in the latest RPG titles they should go apply for a part-time job at The Gap. Anyway the full results can be found in the poll archives.

On behalf of all editors at RPGFan, we wish you a happy and safe Thanksgiving!
