Harvest Moon Pictures

Natsume's farming sim series will continue with two titles appearing in North America this fall. Harvest Moon: Back to Nature will appear in October on PlayStation, while Harvest Moon 2 GBC will be on Gameboy Color.

Harvest Moon: Back to Nature features a graphical style much like Harvest Moon 64, but it should sport additional features and graphical improvements. We have 9 screen shots and 1 packaging picture. Those who have been waiting for Harvest Moon on PlayStation look to be getting the best of the crop!

Many who played Harvest Moon GBC had gripes about how limited it was in comparison to the SNES version. However, Harvest Moon 2 GBC seems to make better use of GBC's color palette as well as adding additional features. This time, walking around town will be possible, instead of using a menu system to access the town's services. In addition, a new inventory system, new tools, new items, new events, and new mini-games will be included. Trading insects and plants between Harvest Moon 2 GBC and Legend of the River King 2 will also be possible. View 6 screen shots and the U.S. packaging. This title is listed for a 3rd quarter release.

This update falls on the full moon tonight, the one that's closest to the fall equinox and sometimes referred to as the harvest moon. Coincidence? Of course not! RPGFan strives to broaden your knowledge of RPGs and the moon.
