Grandia II Lands U.S. Publisher

NOTE: This article has since been retracted. See this article for the real U.S. publisher.

Without a North American subsidiary, Game Arts RPGs are often up for grabs to the highest bidder and that seems to be the case with Grandia II. It's not even released in Japan yet and Eidos has already claimed the rights to its translation.

While this might come as a suprise to most, keep in mind that Eidos was responsible for the translation of Dragon Warrior Monsters so they aren't totally new to the RPG genre.

Since this information came out so close to E3, there is a possibility more could be revealed at the convention (which starts tomorrow, if you were unaware).
