Editorials Update

For those of you who regularly check the editorials section, you probably noticed the new ones in there that were added yesterday. There's a reason behind that, but think of it as a reward for those who visit my section regularly. =P

Anyways, our first editorial comes to us from Finkbot, who explains his opinions on Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII, and why they aren't worse than their predecessors.

Next, a counterpoint to Maverik's "Shut The Hell Up Already!" editorial is given by Ace Highwind. Covers a few things regarding the RPGs of the past, and how they are able to stand up to those released now.

To finish it off, another counterpoint is given by Ace Highwind, responding to the third "Final Fantasy IX, X, and XI?" editorial. Comments on the future Final Fantasy titles, in addition to how people are welcome to like various RPGs in whatever way they wish.

The new suggested topic for writing editorials: "The Console War of 2001". Full details on this new topic can be found on the editorials page.

On a side note, I'd like to say that no more editorials on the subject of Final Fantasy A vs. Final Fantasy B, or Square going uphill or downhill, will be accepted until the next editorials update. Both subjects are getting a bit old, and either side isn't covering any new ground, and the same points are being stated over and over again. The suggested topic is there for a reason... it's to help people get a new topic to discuss. Covering new ground helps generate new ideas, and gets people thinking. So, let's try covering new ground this week, eh? :)
