Lunar on the PC!

Coming to japanese computers across the land is Lunar: Silver Star Story. It looks like ESP wasn't content with a mere Playstation port of this game, so they went all out and brought it out for the PC market, a platform which up until recently hasn't seen many console style RPGs.

The PC version of Lunar: SSS will be available at the low price of 2980 Yen, making it not only an enticing purchase for die hard fans of the series, but the casual importer as well.

It will naturally feature nice resolution, and greatly enhanced quality in the myriad of cinemas that play throughout Alex's adventures. Lunar will play under Windows 95/98, utilizes Direct X 6.1, and runs on a Pentium 233MHz PC or higher.

With the release of this game one has to inevitably wonder how cool an addition this would make to Working Design's lineup in 2000. Perhaps that typo in the manual at the E3 show in 1999 shed more light on the situation than it appeared to...

In the meantime, you can expect RPGFan to continue to bring you more information on the Lunar series as it develops.
