Editorials Update

Before I comment on the editorials, I'd like to announce that at the start of the new year (assuming that Y2K doesn't intervene), the editorials section will undergo a few alterations, to make up for the sudden boom of submissions. In addition to an improved layout, a "suggested topic" will be offered occasionally, to help provide an idea as to what to write about. This is for the better, I believe. Questions and comments are welcome.

Getting down to business, our first editorial is written by David Beier, who makes several points as to why Square makes the best selling RPGs.

Next, Sl0th gives an addendum to his original editorial, "I Miss The Good Old Days of RPGs", and makes several good points about the RPGs of now, compared to those of the past, that I'm sure many of you long-term players can relate to.

Third, an editorial written by Dragonwarrior, makes a good point on what he believes, is the real reason why we play RPGs. I believe the word "fun", spells out what he's getting at.

And finally, an editorial written by Frank Jiang, backs up Joel Duttweiler's counterpoint to the original editorial, "Final Fantasy 3: Best RPG Ever?".
