Tokyo Game Show News!
With Tokyo Game Show upon on in two days, there are many rumors flying. We found, via GameSpot, that two very talked about rumors have become fact.
The first, we have reported on for nearly a year, stating that Grandia would be coming to the Playstation. Well, now it is confirmed that Grandia will make its import debut on the Playstation at Tokyo Game Show. Still, it is yet to be seen how the Playstation version of Grandia can stack up against the Saturn version. Game Arts has stated many times before that Grandia was made specifically for the Saturn and cannot be done on the Playstation. Well, ESP will reveal how at TGS this weekend!
Secondly, are the rumors of Seiken Densetsu: Legend of Mana. GameSpot confirmed these rumors today, and we shall have more information on this game as Square will be showcasing it at the Tokyo Game Show! The advertisement in Famitsu magazine seemed to reveal the new Seiken game as hand drawn 2D. That personally makes me happy, but it is yet to be seen what the screen shots will actually reveal. Only a few more days until we find out though. ^_^ Any way you look at it. it's about time a new Seiken Densetsu/Secret of Mana game was announced. Now, if we can just get that Chrono Trigger sequel.....
The last rumor, we reported on about a week or two ago stating that Dragon Quest VII would be released in August. Well, that is also confirmed as it will make its import release in late August of this year. One would think Sony would translate this game for the US. Check the recent updates if you want movies of this game, which Rudo posted yesterday.
